Homemade Focaccia Bread



Ingredients:
- 1 packet of Active Dry Yeast
- 1 tbsp of suger
- 1 1/2 cups of WARM water
- 3 1/4 cups of unbleached flour
- 2 tsps of sea salt or kosher salt
- olive oil or vegitable oil









Step 1:
Combine Yeast, Sugar, and Warm Water into a small bowl and let sit for 10 minutes so yeast can activate

Step 2:
Add 3 Cups of flour and the salt to medium bowl, mix to combine.

Step 3:
After 10 min add yeast mixture to flour mixture and form into ball, use remaining 1/4 cup of flour and add to the ball of dough till its no longer sticky.

Step 4:
In a large bowl add 1 tbsp of oil and coat to half way up the bowl, add dough, flip to coat the ball of dough with oil. Cover and let sit for 1- 1 1/2 hrs to rise in double.

Step 5:
Preheat oven to 375 10 minutes before dough is ready to bake

Step 6:
Grease pan with a oil. Uncover dough and punch down to release the air, place on pan and softly push down to make a disk. Cover with a little bit more of oil, top with toppings of your choice. I used parmasean cheese and italian seasonings.

Bake for 30-35 minutes till golden
