Easy Rice Cooker Pork Chop Dinner
When I say easy, I mean really easy. This dinner is a favorite of my husbands. It only takes one pan and a rice cooker.
Ingredients :
- One package of Knorr rice sides (you can also just use regular rice or another brand of packaged rice. I've used ricearoni before)
- four small boneless pork chops (other protein can be substituted like chicken)
-water (arccording to package directions)
-butter or olive oil
Step 2:
After the pork chops are done browning you'll add your packaged rice to your rice cooker. My package instructed 2 cups of water for cooking. Stir the contents into the water until the seasoning has no more clumps.
Step 3: Place your browned pork chops into the rice mixture and start the cooker.
My rice cooker automatically senses when the rice is done and switches to warm. If your rice cooker doesn't have that option, just set the cooker time to the time it says to cook on your rice package.
Step 4:
After the allotted time it should be ready to serve, the pork chops tender and the rice done. Plate up and enjoy.

Step 1:
Brown the pork chops in a non-stick fry pan with a little bit of butter or olive oil, until nicely browned on both sides. You don't have to worry about the center having any pink, since the pork chops will finish cooking in the rice cooker.
